On the plus side it's 9 promotions

 

My 10th relegation as well Arthur , although I was only a year old for the first one.

 

When I started supporting Sunderland we had never been relegated and had never played in any other division bar the first as it was known then, we were the only team to be able to say this, oh happy days.

I'll have been alive for all of the relegations, although I can't remember the first.

I can remember the ecstasy of the first promotion, in '64, though!

 

Arsenal were relegated pre-war and bought a place back from Leyton Orient immediately after the First War

Everton relegated around 1932 for one season, came straight back up and won the league!

Aye, just been on the Everton site, and they have indeed been down 1 year, the Everton thing is that they have the record for most seasons in the top flight.
