I'm eating pistachios for the rest of the night... only way I can think of to be Iranian for the evening.
Man, does that feel good. A week and a half ago I was trudging out of the Valley with our silent fans after Burnley had given us a going over- On the yrain to Maze Hill, we were all saying that with three away games coming up, we'd be happy with three points but lucky to get one. Now look. Six points from nine on the road, and despite other results, we continue to inch towards safety. I've just seen Rezza's goal and Hamers save on CL, and they're both quality moments. Sorry for the french keeper, but no space for him after tonight, while Hamer gets all the praise. And who knows, Riga may be more than just a RD yes-man. The fact is that Forest and Leeds we caught at bad moments, but you can't argue with two wins, and I'll be going to work with Pharrell Williams in my head tomorrow.
Well, let's keep that going against a seriously inconsistent Reading and a Yeovil side that can't hold on to a lead...
Cheers Elland, be seeing you next season? Good luck with the finances......maybe get a Belgian in charge?
Happy ur staying up.... Got to say that you were crap and we were worse. I can't remember seeing a worse game. Our primadonnas should all be sacked including the clueless McDermott. The goal apart you were as dire a we were.
We're not counting our chickens just yet. 'Being slightly less crap than the opposition' is as good a description of our season as I've seen so far.
So we were crap they were crappier seems about right but needs must so 3 points is a gift from heaven
I've felt Reza would come good all along, and said so... With just handful of games under his belt, and having to adjust to this division, he's shown some good qualities... Clever running, forced some good saves, and has hit the woodwork three times... Been unlucky not to have scored already. The usual suspects across the forums had already written him off, but then they're top class at overreacting and misjudging, and prefer to over emphasise the importance of tactics & managerial nonsense anyway... I think it's been glaringly obvious we've lacked quality in this squad, especially from our strikers, and in a reported poor, dour match, it was that what make the difference, not tactics or managerial stuff, but a piece pure quality...
