He's so scared of losing that its almost impossible for us to win. He was hoping we'd nick a 1-0. Worst of all though he sent the same team out for the second half. Absolutely criminal. Secondly am I the only one who thought Borini was just day dreaming about his summer holiday? He looked completely disinterested, there were times we had the ball and he was facing the other way not even looking for the ball. Can we now get that idea out of our heads that Borini through the middle is the answer? Thirdly, everything is irrelevant if you dont do the basics when defending set pieces. Yet again no.man on.the back post, yet again Oshea is beaten in the air and yet again we concede a stupid goal. (That's why you're going down) as the West Ham fans hit the nail on the head. The lack of ability in the team is frightening and unfortunately I see no other outcome than relegation. Worst of all Im starting to have doubts about Poyet. No he isn't, it was an important game, and I think the idea was to get to half time at least on level terms and throw the kitchen sink at them second half. It is noticeable to all who watch that AJ is a better impact sub than a starter, it is just something in his make up. Unfortunately our defence once again let us down and the Ref missed a nailed on penalty appeal, on another day it might have gone our way, these things happen in football, it is not a science the team gave their all last night and the crowd did their bit it just wasn't to be. What we need at the club is stability not knee jerk reactions whatever the seasons outcome.
Should AJ have been in the team from the start and no Wickham? perhaps. The problem was that yet again we cannot defend corners, which has been the problem all season, any stto know how concede compared to the rest of the Premier league mind mandy caroline won every header he went for. The problem that Gus has is we have no strikers of note..should he have splashed the Gus in Jan on a striker..that I reckon is the only question that needs answering. Any criticism on Borini is harsh, He's been a model pro always working hard. Everybody is entitled to the odd bad game, If he was mr consistent he wouldn't be here. There are Jokes right through the squad(lack of effort through some, lack of conentration from others) but lets bring another scapegoat into the the mix eh. I'm not going to get the idea out of my head for playing him down the middle because he's our best ****ing striker.
