TonyWarners, sorry if you didn't think after 60 years watching England I don't know they play in blue and white. That was exactly the point I was trying to make, England SHOULD be playing in red & white. They are traditional English colours not only for football.

Argentina have white shorts instead of the traditional black though.

The rules say a team needs one predominantly light kit and one predominantly dark kit. Which is presumably why Germany's black and red effort is ok.

Seems a bit daft though in all honesty, I've no idea why teams couldn't release kits in their traditional colours and then have alternate shorts if need be.

The England team has played in white and navy since they were formed though, so they're keeping with tradition. Not every team plays in the colours of their national flag.

Thanks for apologising though, appreciate it.

    I like it.

Doesn't have to be fancy or anything, but to charge so much is scandalous.

Does the second photo shoot tell us anything about who might be on the plane? Sterling, Barkley, Oxlade-Chamberlain etc.

I would be pretty happy with those 5 going to be fair.

    Especially Barkley.

At least Cleverley isn't modelling them...

It probably says a lot that he's not in it to be fair.

Did you hear the rumour that he's apparently going to Everton for 15m? Would probably be a good move for all parties, he'd do well under Martinez and out of the spotlight.

I don't think that would be a good move for Everton - why the **** would you spend £15m on Cleverley?

Nobody questioned them spending a similar amount on McArthur.

It's just because he's out of place at a big club that people question his ability. He was pretty awesome for Martinez at Wigan.

Aye, they'll all say what each little bit means to them and how it tells a life story. Clearly, by the age of 17, they've all done a lot of living!

    It was McCarthy.

What exactly do you mean by 'out of place'?

Also, the difference between Cleverley and McCarthy - Cleverley hasn't played well for years, McCarthy has.

I actually googled to make sure but I still forgot to change that <doh>

Out of place meaning that he's not a special player at a special club. He's not the kind of player to have match changing performances to make sure his side wins games but he's another vital cog in their side. He's almost the English version of McCarthy, they're that similar in terms of ability, play style and physique.

Him moving to a side like Everton would be a good move.

To say that he hasn't played well for years is just wrong. He's just been outshone.

The last kit only came out 10 month ago.

The home kit was worn 8 times and the away twice...apparently.

    Fleecing bastards.

You can tell they ran out of reasons as to why you should buy the expensive one.

That Spain kit is dodgy. If it's all going to be red at least use the same shade of red.

The little nuggets of wisdom or song lyrics, written in a script-type style along their arms really make me laugh.

Especially when some daft twat has spelled something wrong.
