Todays racing, for what it is, comes to us from Hexham, Plumpton and Kempton... If you have any good advice, tips, or general ideas on the day please post away... Good luck to all if you are indeed playing today...
Anyone know if Mossey Joe is definately going for the Foxhunters? No jockey down to ride him last time I looked.
I'm sick as well Oddy...all self inflicted mind you. Manu 13/2 to win at home tomorrow and a whopping 9/5 to avoid defeat...that is staggering...any takers?. I must admit I know little of the Bundesliga.
Almost certain to run. Bolger hasn't confirmed any jock on his mounts in the race yet. Mullins will be on Mossey Joe though, well at least he should as he is retained by the owner who rates him highly! Edit: Mullins most certainly won't be on!!
Bloody mary's Dex?? Can't see United getting anything to be fair, it's a case of damage limitation I'm afraid.
Oh ya, amateur race sure, brain ain't functioning too well today. Ya i would think Nina will ride then as he is the best hope I would think.
Ya possibly so. Is Derek O'Connor available I wonder because he would be high on the list to take the ride.
I would love them to give it someone experienced like that, I wonder if they will let the lad who won on him before the big money move ride him. Think he rode him the other day in the P2P.
Bayern will wallop them Dex Just been looking at the 3.50 at Plumpton, very interesting little race for a number of reasons. Noel Fehily has just 1 ride at the track today, on Charlie Mann's Airmen's Friend, who looks to have been given a chance by the handicapper but will he stay the trip? Seemed to run out of steam over a similar trip last time but may have needed the run. Then we have triple course winner Ballyvoneen, who clearly loves the springtime at Plumpton and must have a massive chance off just 78 with Trevor Whelan taking off another 3. But most interesting of all is the money pouring onto Uncle Petit, who has run like the proverbial drain in pretty much all of his 9 career starts to date, the exception being his only visit to Plumpton where he was hampered 3 out but plugged on fairly nicely behind the runaway winner. That was a handicap hurdle and he has had just the one run over fences, finishing 47 lengths 7th to Caulfields Venture having gone off at 50/1. Obviously someone thinks he will go well today as he has been backed in from 25/1 to as short as 9/1 with Betfair and Skybet. But the interest doesn't stop there. Dushy Valley has form figures of 2F-7PPP and yet he has also been well backed this morning, from 11s into 6s. He is also a dual course & distance winner but those last 3 "P"s have all come at Plumpton. In the words of Sir Barney Chuckles, this one looks to have more plots that an Agatha Christie novel. I'll stick with old boy Ballyvoneen to get his head in front again at his favourite track.
They might well leave Skehan on board. O'Connell seems loyal to anyone that did well for him before so perhaps he will leave him on again.
Mannered looks a tad to big at 25s ew one for harry should not get beat amore moi at around 5s should reverse the placings with the fav
Was Skehan not assured of the Cheltenham ride before the horse was deemed a NR? I think he'll ride him. He won on the horse at Stratford last year in the big Hunters' 'chase and has ridden over ten winners under rules in Ireland. In the context of this race that is experienced enough.
