An interesting poll to asses what you collectively think.

Me....I'd like them to stay up and I think they will so we retain the derbies... although I'll freely admit I'm enjoying seeing them squirm.

To see the Mackems in the Championship.. and then wind them up will be like kicking a dog when it's down and no real fun.

Yes, I would like to see them go down this season, and struggle for years to get back up.
I just see it as a natural way of things.

The Derby games would be a miss, but, so what, its not as if we haven't been in that position before.

Good thread Glowers and one that had to happen.

I hope they go down. We've had to eat a whole load of humble pie of late and I'll freely admit it has hurt <wah>

Seeing them squirm is nice but I remember the reaction from the SoL when we got relegated on that fateful day a few seasons ago. They loved it and now I want to laugh at them and enjoy their demise.

Down, down, deeper and down <starts singing the famous Status Quo song>

Same ACS I wouldn't choose them as one of the teams I would like to go at the start of the season but now they are in this situation it is slightly helping me to get over our recent issues.

I'm sure they didn't suffer the same pangs of guilt following our relegation <ok>

    Agree with this.

I look forward to the day when we settle the score of the last few defeats at their hands.

However I admit that I am probably deluded.

Close your eyes and sit back, imagine for a moment supporting a team that fears no one, not even a team that plays in Red and White

I voted yes. The meltdown on the RTG board would be terrific.

Think we need rid of Pardew if we are to have a chance of settling the score. Which means we need rid of Ashley as he'll just appoint someone equally as poor.

Oh yeah, and a team of players who are not so passionless for the club.

I don't really care but went no as I like the derbies. I would find it absolutely hilarious if they do go down obviously, but that is the law.

I've said this before - we've enjoyed nothing from the last 3 derbies and I have lost all faith in winning another one in the near future, so they don't excite me these days.

I'd love to see them go down because they loved it when we went down. Do unto other and all that...
