Most teams struggle with that at Stoke though. There were a couple of times when the City player held them off pretty well and the nob gave a free kick. That time Livermore was going mental at him was the worst because it was so obvious he just wanted to pass the ball and their lad was hanging off him desperate to make a battle of it. Livermore shrugged him off and it's a free kick. FFS. You can't win at these places.

The term "worth" means **** all today, when clubs pay £26 and £28 million for the likes of Soldado and Fellaini respectively. He's an improvement on what we had up front before, in the shape of Fryatt, Graham or Sagbo. His movement and ability to get himself into scoring positions at this level is far superior to those three. Granted, he misses more chances than he should, but that's why he ONLYcost £7 million. He's scored 6 goals in half a season. He could end up getting into double figures, and those goals could help preserve our top flight status. I reckon that'd be money well spent.
