We do know that the QC will make his decision today, what we don't know is whether the FA will tell us straight away? It takes the pressure off the FA. If the QC reverses the decision, the FA can blame the QC for siding with Cellino. If he agrees with the FA, then its going to be 'I told you so'. Morning all. I'd like to see the evidence for the wages quoted above, as these would normall be covered by data protection. Anyway, as you say, a big day. If Cellino wins, all's well and we can look forward to the start of world domination beginning with a scrappy away win in August. Should be a question aimed at those who believe McDermott is the right guy for the job, I believe those wage figures show he is clueless and he needs to shoulder some of the blame for the financial melt down. Assuming he knew what they were going to cost us, if he didn't why not? We need Cellino in and I hope he does upset a few, I hope he kicks a few peoples ass, I hope he pays off and gets rid of the dross we have and that includes McDermott. He might upset us all along the way but the last 11 years haven't worked.... If he comes in and buys Elland Road back and T/A then that is more than anyone else in the last decade, after that he can do almost what he likes. At least any new manager, coach, player that walks into Elland Road will know it is 100% and they had better perform or they are out. Complain about how many managers Cellino gets through all you like, the true fact of the matter is Warnock should have went months before he did and so should McDermott, who is to say you keep leaving it until it is too late, maybe Cellino is a better judge of how things are going than some give credit for.
Are these figures just coming out of that Cellino interview on sound cloud? Has it been confirmed as real, because to be honest some of the things said in that would be pretty stupid things for a prospective owner who's deal hangs in the balance to say?
I would assume as a prospective buyer he would have seen the figures, problem is you never know what or who to believe in anything that is Leeds United any more
has been confirmed by an Italian jour no as 100% Cellino but will still be doubters. I dont see whats stupid to be honest. He calls it as he sees it. I much prefer to hear that than the other smarmy lies were fed daily
Don't get me wrong, from a fans perspective it's brilliant. Like you say, he says everything we want to hear. I just can't see him personally attacking the people who he is buying the club from. That's the only thing that makes me doubt it and suspect its a fan who's made it up. But if it's been confirmed, it's pretty hilarious
Great interview with Cellino but not great timing. Great that he says it as he sees it but I'm sure he would have been more diplomatic had he known it was being recorded. Let's hope he gets the go ahead today.
I'm not so sure about this. He's pretty media savvy and I reckon he must have realised very early on that this was no "ordinary Leeds fan" who just phoned up for a chat, he may even have set it up himself. This was all designed to get the fans on board and it seems to have worked beautifully. Two months ago he was being chased away from Elland Road by irate fans, now everyone is desperate for him to take over.
morning all ... fake interview so move on ... bottom line is there really is no way Cellino can win today ... he has to wait and see the result of his appeal in Italy first ... if his Italian appeal fails and his conviction stands, then he can't buy Leeds, so imagine if he won today and lost in Italy later ... the only way would be if the FL put in a caveat that if he lost Italian appeal he would have to hand over Leeds to administrators to sell ... nope, Cellino will lose today and that will be that ... really worried about Farnan getting the club, sounds like another knob trying to get us on the cheap Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
