Is it time to revert back to 4-4-2 from the start of the game? I would like to see us do so against Swansea. Opinions please...

    English Steve Harper
    Rosy Davies Chester Figueroua
    Elmo Hudd Jake Meyler
    Jelavic Long

Piece of piss this management lark. I may even be tempted to start gyppo George on the left and put Meyler in the middle, and drop Jake. He either needs a rest or a kick up the arse.

When we play Jake and Meyler across the middle we lack creativity. Despite his range of passing Thudd doesn't offer enough positive intent. If we want to win games, we need to play Thudd and one of Jake or Meyler with him plus attacking wide men.

    ----------Jela Long
    Aluko Meyler Thudd Elmo

I actually wrote Aluko/Boyd but then deleted it for simplicity. Yeah, Boyd or Sagbo would be options.

Deffo, we look better playing 4-4-2, but we are a bit weak down the left whoever plays.

Dejagah looks like a decent player who could play on the left next season and probably available at a half decent price

Whenever we lose playing 352 someone always blames the formation. Same as someone always blames Meyler. But when we lose playing 442 it's never to blame.

Fact is we've played both formations well and it largely depends on personnel available.

Boyd is a good shout but Aluko definitely not he plays around with the ball and then falls over before the opposition can make a serious tackle. He is either another Stewart, Brady etc or is just ensuring he gets to Wembley

That's not actually true, when we play 3-5-2 it normally involves playing Bruce and our record with him in the team is ****e...

    Bruce in - Played 16 -- won 2 -- drawn 3 -- lost 11 -- points 9

    Bruce out - played 16 -- won 7 -- drawn 3 -- lost 6 -- points 24

And of the two wins we did get with Bruce in the team, once was the 4-0 against Cardiff, when we played 4-4-2.

Only if we have to match up to the team, we are playing.

    3 - 5 - 2 suits us much better.

If the team make basic mistakes then it does not matter what formation you play.

West Ham and Stoke games were lost due to mistakes and in the Hammers game the match officials mistakes. We should be 11th now with 35 points at least.

Those figures really don't surprise me.

****s knows what he was doing for the goal at stoke, daydreaming, totally switched off. He just stood there watching.

Decent enough back up if we're in a crisis but I would try avoid having him on the pitch when at all possible.

Yes. I would like to see both Boyd and Quinn start against Swansea. 2 left sided and left footed players to give balance.

Rosie needs to be on the right to allow Elmo to push forward more.
