Swansea vs Hull " For the Times they are A - Changin " Should be a nice , relaxing game this time around. The thought ,back then , that's Leon Britton would probably be starting a Premier League game for us "Ten Years after " would have not existed in even the most optimistic of Swan fans' minds . Take a bow " Little Big Man " , could have never done it without you
Without knowing , I 'd say highly unlikely. Not only is Britton still here though , he's as important a player as there is on the team , he'll always be the exception and not the rule to such a decade of rise !
Its 11 years not 10 The match was in 2003. We then spent 3 years in div 2 (4th tier) (then promoted) 3 years in div 1 (3rd tier) (then promoted) 3 years in the champ (2nd tier) This our 2nd prem season
Leon would still be amongst the first names on my teamsheet every week. Won us a fantastic point at Arsenal, why has he never got an England call up, there is no one better at the job he does.
Leon would be the first name on my team sheet, the little guy is a giant legend at the club. I would put him at the very top of all the legend's past and present of the club in my view...and there are many to choose from...
The next important question regarding Leon , who the hell will replace him ? , it's been criminal to see that through the last 8 years or so no English manager has seen fit to even use him in a friendly . 400 games for us with 1 red card and that was this year with 57 yellow cards ,considering the position where he's played the majority of games for us thats not a bad record .
FFS, great to hear from you. Good to see you're still around. Say hi to junior from me! Going to Copenhagen anytime soon? Pm me!
