Sherwood seems to agree too. You're right about Palace, they didn't beat Chelsea yesterday just by sitting back, they did their best to compete with them across the pitch.
We're playing a risky game here. Playing Coutinho and Sterling together.... Immense firepower, but we could lack muscle in midfield. Looks like we're going all out guns blazing.
It's certainly a side with confidence of winning but I do wonder if you're underestimating us a bit. It might well work and you end up destroying us but if you don't dominate then I think you're leaving yourselves very vulnerable, especially with the way your defence plays.
If lowly Palace can beat Chavs, we should be able to beat 'Pool. I don't care what any one says. 'Pool can be got at, so long as we keep our discipline, and every player presses for the full 90 mins. Give 'Pool space, and it'll be game over. Come on, then, Sherwoodie! Prove me wrong about you! Show me that you have what it takes, in terms of both man-management (to get the boys fired up) and tactically, to take this to 'Pool and win!
If it was anyone but Tottenham , I would say that Liverpool would lose purely on the basis of the results yesterday and today. Given the chance to go top, the form they are in , it would be typical for them to blow it. BUT it is Spurs they are up against.
I assume he's not fit enough to start. When you look at Winks on the bench it suggests that we are short on numbers for the bench. Not including Sandro and Dembele(who likely aren't fully fit) we have Walker, Chiriches, Fryers, Paulinho, Lamela, Capoue and Adebayor injured.
I hate being so negative against the team but that goal really pissed me off. Just pathetic all round.
