Hull City v Swansea Sat 5 Apr 15:00Draw 2-2 FA Cup - Semi-Final Hull City v Sheff Utd Sun 13 Apr 16:07Win 2-0 Hull City v Arsenal Sat 19 Apr 17:30 Loss 1-3 Fulham v Hull City Sat 26 Apr 15:00 Win 0-1 March was disappointing for us. No excuses about tiredness now, weeks break in between games.
I'd snap your hand off now. As long as we beat the pigs I couldn't really give a **** about the other games.
bollocks. I know its not an either or question but... Relegation, lose our best players, and you want to play against Botev Plovdiv, Dudelange, Differdange and Mladost Plodgorica and somehow that means something to you!!! GTF Stay in the Premier League and compete against some of the best players in the world week in week out.
As long as we get that vital League win which would essentially ensure survival, I'll be happy. An FA Cup final wouldn't be bad either.
FA cup final is actually what I hope for, probably never happen again, Europa League would just be a huge bonus. Besides you always draw a decent team in the group, Swansea had Valencia this season for example. I don't turn up to watch the opposition anyway, a return to winning more than we lose wouldn't be unwelcome. I quite like the championship. Decent standard of football without the theatrics of the premier league. I think if we got relegated we'd get back to the premier league sooner than if we stayed up we'd reach another FA cup final, if we reach it.
I didn't think March was too bad for us - we only took 1 point fewer than I expected us to. I thought we would get a draw at either West Ham or Stoke. Still think we will be okay, but I have given up trying to predict where the points we need will actually come from.
Plastic! It isn't about the opposition, it's about piling onto a ferry full of City fans all singing don't sell McShane into the early hours and seeing City play in a foreign country.
Now I don't claim to be Mother Shipton or owt, but I had a bad feeling about the West Ham & Stoke games. It just didn't feel right. Swansea and Fulham, however, is different matter. I do feel, in my waters, that these are going to be two positive results. So there you are, what more do you need? That'll see us to 39 points, which in turn will see us safe. You're welcome.
David Pleat here on the Fulham game says 36 pts for safety according to his own calculations. MOD punters thought City would be ok with one more win. Bruce says one more win. A win vs Swansea would be the perfect way to go into the FA Cup semi..
When it's mattered this season we have come up with a result. I think we can get 6 points from the games next month though 4 would do us just fine.
Fulham were actually excellent today, the 3-1 flattered Everton. If we got to Fulham and played like we did yesterday, they could easily beat us, they've also got Norwich and Palace at home in their next three games.
Definitely but hopefully by the time we play em they will be dead and buried and there for the taking.
I have to agree, Fulham played well and were unlucky with two of the goals. I guess that's the way it goes when you're struggling.
