    In all seriousness does anyone here think we'll see England win a tournament in our lifetimes? Frankly Im less than hopeful, everyone seems to have at least 20 years on us in terms of technical ability and know-how

    What gets me, is that 3/4 players in there are worth more than our entire squad - and they're so ridiculously overrated!

    Henderson especially - If Henderson is worth 20m then Sturridge is worth 40!

    Nah...The last squad I was genuinely proud of was the '96 team...We had so much skill and flair, great team spirit and lads who were desperate to play for their country!

    Glad we don't have a player in that joke of a team. Out of the whole team the only players i'd want at Newcastle would be Walker, Smalling and Jones. It's a good job that most England teams aren't made up from players that come through the Under 21's otherwise we'd be ****ED!

    Well it's good preperation for their future national careers, snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. I'd take Walker, said it a few months ago. He really impressed last season.
