Too soon or time to go? http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/manchester-united-fans-fly-plane-3291791?
Spoilt bastards over Manchester know nothing, now they are finding out what it's like to have referee's make dubious decisions against them, what it's like to not have things go their way, welcome to the normal world!
I rhought he'd been sacked ya twat!!! Too soon - Ferguson knew it was time to go - the bloke is a clever old ****er and knew the team he had with the background staff (the equalliser) doing the transfer bidding were never getting him another title. I don;t think he'll be sacked this season - I think he'll be given the summer to sort things out his way and then they'll go from there - if he fails next season then I think he'll be gone by christmas
In think he always had a bye for this season, Fergy was always going to be a hard act to follow no matter who came in. They'll tough it out till the end of the season and then be judged next season once Moyes has had a summer window to buy who he want in.
Hopefully the supporters will get their way , but Moyes walks and leaves them high and dry. Most reasonable ManU supporter knew the team was not going to do anything 2 years ago and Fergie left Moyes nothing but problems, especially in midfield. LFC supporters got their way by bringing back King Kenny and he did nowt, or even put the club back two years.
Can help thinking the appointment of Moyes was a tactical master stroke by Fergie. After all what better way to show how good he was than to see the team fall apart as soon as he leaves? The very same team that walked the league last season now sit seventh. A full 18 points from the top. Rumours abound of in fighting behind the scenes and there is a very real chance they will miss out on the champions league....boo bloody hoo. The effect on Everton losing Moyes is in complete contrast. Despite Moyes raiding his old club they could yet finish 4th. A position he achieved once and never bettered in his eleven years on Merseyside. My take on it. Moyes is a very average manager at best. Completely out of his depth at Man U. SAF on the other hand is a tactical genius both on and off the field. I can't stand him but you gotta respect him. Anyone think Man U would be 18 points adrift if he was still there? I don't.
The Glasiers don't seem to have that knee jerk reaction like other owners do and will weather the storm imo. This has been coming for a while now, they should have strengthened the midfield 3 years ago when the knew that Scholes was going, but they relied on the youngens who haven't lived up to expectations. Moyes will need to rebuild in the summer and the Glasiers need to back him if they want to stay in the race.
I would love the next manager to come in and do even worse. Surely Moyes is entitled to a couple more transfer windows to get his own team. SAF, imo, bought some distinctly average players towards the end of his reign and, similar to what Gus has now Moyes has a lot of ageing deadwood to get rid of.
