We probably average McDonald's once every couple of months, tho' usually not regularly. Like you say Ruff, would never let them eat it often - all the sugar and salt can really f**k a kid's metabolism, and the average McDonald's meal contains more calories than kids are supposed to have in a full day.

Spinach and ricotta canelloni for lunch today, then baked chicken with rice and veg for dinner. Then see if I can be arsed to watch us get panned by City again.

  2. I knew no ****er would believe me <laugh> Its true though, I'd not a fun of McDoanlds really but I do eat it as I give in to what the mrs (not married) and kids want #familyman

PS...it doesn't help that I only post about those sort of dinners. I never say anything when I have mash, carrots, green beans, brocolli, peas, yorkshires, etc like i did last night (although I did mention the spaghetti meatballs on here the other day). Bit like people who post their winning bets on Facebook, people think they are incredible lucky but they never tell you their losing bets.

Roast pork, stuffing and apple sauce baguette.. <ok>

Went out last night. My local does a themed night once a month. As the landlord used to work and run high end restaurants. Last night was French night..

I had duck terrine. Mrs had French onion soup. Gutted I didn't have the soup as it was amazing.

Mains were confit duck served with braised red cabbage and cassoulet. Or beef bourginon. Puds were tart tatin, Creme brûlée . All of it was amazing. Finished with a cheese board which had the tastiest Brie I've ever eaten. Also homeade breads. All for £20 a head.

I ate a chinky last night. She didn't complain. I say she didn't complain, I couldn't understand a word she said. She shouldn't be talking with her full mouth, anyway. <ok>

My boys wouldn't eat Cumberland sausage yesterday because they reckon it's too spicy.
Not much hope with a curry!
