.........at least we aren't MASSIVE' Leeds. If reports coming out today are correct (OK, it,s the M***) then they could be well and truly f*****. Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch IMO.
What do you mean Stainsy.....All I can find is "Massimo Cellino takeover appeal confirmed" Is that it...
I don't know how to link or pull up the story from the Mail.......but seemed grim reading if you are a Leeds fan.
To think, Millwall AND Leeds to go down in the same season.......?? Carlsberg don't do Football Leagues.........but if they did
I'm sure that I've missed something here Staines. If Leeds are to be relegated (plesae) then they need a points deduction, which means administration. Is that a posibility? Have seen that Master Bates may be ghetting involved again. What a joy for everyone (except those few Revie lovers) that would be!
It's in the Mail, page 84. Might be journalistic gonads (god knows we have suffered in the past), but it brought a smile to my face. Can anyone do a link ? Beth, I did my 'Lego City' building after dropping kids off at school today, as I promised all 10 models would be done for their return. I managed 8 before going down the gym, which I thought was a good effort
Remind me why we hate Leeds? Apart from their sheer enormity, of course. I'm tempted to get all pious on this kind of stuff, 'think of the supporters', 'fans should stand together' and so on, but on reflection thats bollocks, I couldn't care less what happens to 99.9% of other clubs and they couldn't care less what happens to us (in fact I think there will be plenty of gloating if this FFP balls catches us out). f**k 'em.
With me Stan, it goes back to my younger days and a few of the run ins we had with their lot. Got very naughty at a FA Cup 5th round match (i think), when they won it in the last few minutes and came on the pitch, first celebrating, then attacking all of us and s******g my youngself up. And then to cap it all, our train got bricked on the way out and it was bloody freezing all the way home..............So THAT Stan..Is why i hate massive f****** Leeds
I'm at work so hard to write it all but to summarise..... Leeds current owners, GFH, reckon that Massimo Cellino is now responsible for paying the wages at the club (1.5 mill by Friday) due to an agreement struck 6 months ago. He says he isn't as he has been blocked from buying the club outright, so states it is the GFH who should be paying the wages, which they also refuse to do. So it's a massive (excuse the pun) impasse that if not sorted out this week, the club could go into administration due to unpaid bills and be deducted 10 points. As i said, might be bollox, but could also have merit
Thanks Staines. To answer Stan's question, I can't speak for you youngsters, but to people of my generation the dislike (hate is reserved for WW, C*****a & Manure) it goes back to a certain Don Revie & his team of thugs. Don't blame foreign players for all the things you find odious in football, Leeds were doing it all & a lot more back in those days. Peter Ridsdale & Master Bates were the perfect partners for such an obnoxious club.
I like a good personal bad blood/vendetta reason Stainsey. I have a similar personal dislike of Spurs due to a particular incident. I remember those days very well Terry, and they were certainly an unlovable bunch, with an unlovable following to boot. But I was watching some clips on You Tube the other day and they were very good when they wanted to be as well. I'm sure Revie was on some kind of psychiatric disorder spectrum, seemed to have a high level of paranoia. But is the club obnoxious, or any more obnoxious than any other?
Can concur with Stainesy news on MASSIVE Leeds. Reported on BBC Look North today that players wages 'might not' be paid at the end of the month. Blamed as the reason for their recent collapse
Here's the link.............. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...ners-row-erupts-10-point-deduction-looms.html
This all sounds like a bit of scaremongering to me. It reminds me of The Sun during our Championship season when Shaun Custis reported that he had it on good authority that we would receive a fifteen point deduction over Faurlingate. Of course I may well be wrong, but I doubt that this situation is as bad as it's being purported.
And guess who the last away game is for Millwall? Hope we don't give them the bottom tier and the filth don't disappear at FT like they did last time. Pompey are close to dropping out of the FL as well.
