Macca, you mean all this time we've been brutha's in arms and we never realised it? Can someone get SnB another babycham, he's almost finished the first one.
Either you missed the idiot part, or you're claiming to be one? I have no choice, it says so under my name.
****ing hell, nowt gets passed you does it? Panorama or similar should beckon for you. No. It was sarcasm, intending to take the piss out of SnB. He's a twat. He claimed you were a Pro Name Changer, which is patently ****ing stupid. I was mocking him. But, you missed it. Sorry.
I'm now partial pro name change, anti FA and undecided about the Allams. Two weeks ago I was anti name change, anti Allam and anti FA Last month I was anti name change, pro Allam and anti FA. I am in favour of a partial name change, I would for instance accept Hull City Tigers (begrudingly) and I have never been bothered about the AFC element. The Allams have swayed my view of their tenure, simply because Ehab has become more vocal and I have to admit I like some of what he say's. The FA are just totally clueless and if they had addressed the problems that Tan introduced, this business would have been sorted ages ago. I also am more than peeved with the bloke who applied to the East Riding FA to call a team Hull Tigers, his intervention quickened the pace of the Allams. I believe it is rational to change your stance in regard to issues. Stuntedandbloated will no doubt have another troll fest over this post, but only a dumb **** like him would fail to understand the point. Find me a fence as I would like to sit on it. After all none of us want to be in the position that we are in. Even CTWD endorse their campaign with pro Allam comments. I would rather we did not have this issue to talk about and then I like many others could support the owners, blissfully unaware of the flaws in their business planning. Mind you then I would have to post about football......
Surely it's the people who do change their opinion, are the ones with the 'balls'. And the people who won't change their minds, due to stubbornness and especially, the fear of ever being wrong about anything, are the weak ones. It takes the better man, to admit they were wrong, and all that ?
I believe Ehab when he says that financial security could be reached relatively easily, if we can be more attractive to the far east. His example of Everton was well made. I have always had the impression that we where talking about major funding, but in reality we are not and that changes everything. 10 million per season increased revenue is do able. The Allams are right, we need to be different to the other 13 clubs in the PL who all vie for sponsorship deals from the same marketplace. How do we attract money away from West Ham, Swansea etc, what have we got to offer that they don't? I dont want the name changed but I have to admit that it makes some sense and all of the posturing that has gone on about it being stupid is wrong. The name change is not to my liking, but I cannot argue with the reasons to do it.
