Sod Gibbs, Ramsey and the Verminator, bloomin' Diaby is set to return in March! How exciting. If it happens. Which it won't. Shame really as he'd offer a whole new dimension in midfield for our run in.
So Ramsey isn't returning to training as scheduledn Ramsey... We have had to defer his comeback to full training a little so he is not available. He is having difficulties in the final stages of his rehab. It looks to be short-term. This has become so typical at Arsenal, a routine injury just gets prolonged and prolonged, we will be lucky if we even see him at all this season.
@JamesOlley Wenger says Arsenal are reviewing medical and training methods in light of severe injury list. #afc Ozil hasn't even been with us for a year and we've given him his first hamstring injury of his career. We've been a fecking joke with this stuff for years. The contrast in the team news between BM and Arsenal ahead of this weeks game was comical, considering how big their squad is compared to ours.
on the latest team news… Compared to Tuesday night, we have no new injuries and no-one coming back as well. on the injured players… Monreal should be the first one back in training because he is just starting to run in the next few days. After him, Ramsey is progressing well but we need to be patient for a few more weeks. === So no sight of anyone coming back any time soon. Currently physioroom lists: Monreal, Koscielny, Wilshere, Ozil, Ramsey, Diaby, Miyaichi, Theo as being injured - putting Arsenal once again at the top of the injuries table. When was the last time Arsenal had a season that WASN'T full of injuries?
Can it just be a coincidence? It seems every season Arsenal lose more than their fair share of players through injuries??
The Bear wrote a really interesting piece on our injuries a while back, can't remember the detail but it was fascinating. If you're about Bear, can you re-post it ?
Anyone see this craziness?? âDiaby will return to the team this weekend, yes, he has a tremendous spirit and has fought with courage to return as an Arsenal player. He is like a new signing.â âHe has been out for a long time, but will start the game, to win this game is crucial and would mean we can stop looking over our shoulders and begin again looking forwardâ âI am unsure as yet who he will replace, but expect to see him start, he is a top player at the club and an important one for us.â
