I know this is premature, and we could easily lose the semi. But if we don't, does anyone know if there is any logic to who gets which end for the final? Eg if it was -- as the bookmakers expect -- a City v Arsenal final, would we keep the same end as we had in the semi (in that Arsenal are west and we are east)? Assuming this is the case, if two teams from the same semi- end get through, how's it decided who gets each end? There is a point to the question ... even though it may seem pointless at this stage ;0).
If Arsenal have the west side for the semi final and we have the east, it makes sense to keep them the same.
No although that would be nice. It's more a taking a punt on tickets before finalists are confirmed question, as I'm London-based, not a season ticket holder, and will probably have v limited chance of getting a ticket via the club should we get through. But never having been to a final in person, I'd still be interested in going as a neutral even if we fall at the semi- hurdle. Because I suspect if Arsenal get through, even neutral tickets will be v hard to acquire.
Yes that seems logical, similarly if it's a Wigan v Sheffield Utd final -- because they could both keep 'their' ends too. But is it what happens? I guess I'll try to ask on the Wembley or FA message board.
Ah ok - many thanks. In which case the only option if buying before we know if we've got through would be Club Wembley near the middle of stadium - which are probably the most expensive. Thanks
