Better team lost. Proud of the lads tonight and would expect them to be up for it and looking for something at Stoke. West Ham poor and were booed off by their fans. Would expect us to finish above them based on tonight. Soft penalty on Sat came back to bite us on the arse! Some of you don't half flap on here during a game.
we dont want that bob. They've got Sunland West Brom and Palace to play. We did well with ten without ever really threatening to score. Much as we praise our defence Allardyce is going to do the same for his. Let us have the ball and kept us out. Classic boring **** Allardyce. Well done to all who went. We move on.
To be honest I'd rather never have to see Fat Twat/Pulis teams again and get relegated. I hope West Ham lose every game and play just as **** as tonight. And I hope Mike Dean has an accident which makes him unable to referee again. Nothing serious mind, just something like stepping on a land mine and losing his legs would be alright
no one in the prem are as bad as i saw West Ham tonight, typical of Sam to fluke a win. bollocks does that mean there going to trash Parkers again next season and get away fans barred from the pub like they did this season.still great performance from City. move on.
They aren't a big club in terms of the PL though. It's the fact they've got one of those ****ty little, fans close to the pitch, "it's a hard place to go" type grounds that helps them get these decisions. Same as they always do when we go there, same as Stoke will get them all on Saturday and same as Palace get every time we play there. The fans and the managers make sure they get the decisions, particularly at home. Oh please let's not do that.
Yeah get your excuses in early. The refs all hate us wah wah wah. You remember Brady's **** dive vs West Ham back in September? These things happen but winning games in the manner really pisses me off.
Fat Sam should be a politician with spin like that, madness. (For those of you listening to the 5 live interview)
You keep telling me about this 'dive' but it really wasn't. He got pushed in the back like defenders always do in the box and the ref clamped down on it for once. Just because it was a daft thing to do and penalties aren't normally given, doesn't mean it was a dive. It wasn't a dive at all. When do you see a player diving pretending to have been pushed? You only dive over an outstretched leg don't you? This is what I mean about teams like West Ham. Allardyce went mental calling Brady a cheat and everyone remembers it and he's made sure it's in the ref's mind and even convinced some City fans that he dived! Compare that to Pepe Mel's reaction at the weekend when it actually was a bad decision and he didn't even complain about it. I'm not saying refs all hate us. I just hate how the same teams at the same grounds get the decisions against us every time. I said before today that this would happen, I said before Palace that it would happen and it happened exactly the same both times. You can call it getting your excuses in early if you like but I call it ****ing predictable. It's a shambles that it keeps happening. This actually stops me going to certain grounds because I know it'll just drive me mental. I'm going to Stoke at the weekend though and I'm sure I'll end up bumping this when exactly the same sort of thing happens.
Given that everyone thought that Dean had stopped the game to have injuries attended and the time lapse before the decision was finally given, who actually gave it? Didn't notice anything immediately from the lino either. Was a lot of chatter on mikes/headphone that Dean didn't appear to be included in. Who was the 4th official?
Post-game commentators here....Curbishley etc...said that it was the lino who called it and reading his lips he said to Dean on the mic..."You have to send him (McGregor) off". Apparently he missed the hand ball.
That's exactly how it happened, the lino clearly said 'send him off'. What's so annoying is that the lino had a clear unobstructed view of the handball but didn't see it...aaaaarghh!!
It was great to see the Chester /Davies partnership back to their best, but oh dear the supply to the strikers was woeful especially when you take into account Huddleston ran the midfield in the second half. We badly needed a playmaker neither Meyler or Livermore have the skill to open up defences when going forward.Aluko isn't ready as yet and he is prone to injuries .Assuming we stay up we need a Wes Hoolahan type to replace Myler and still keep the balance in the team right.
Just seen the own goal and it's a shocker. It's not like he was just unlucky to slice it, he got in a right muddle and didn't know what to do. He ended up facing in the most awkward direction while swinging at it.
