    Seems like people are split between whether to include Marveaux or Cabaye in their team. I'd go for Cabaye just because having 3 CMs on the pitch would make the side more stable

    Correct me if I'm wrong but Barton was our player of the season last year playing RM, seems to me that we got the best out of Barton when playing him out wide. He has admitted himself that this is the best form of his career, his best position is RM. Play players to their strengths, Barton's strength is his crossing and staying away from the battle in the middle of the pitch. Why fix something that's not broken!

    And who are these better wingers...???
    N'Zogbia isn't a winger and never has been
    Gutierrez can't cross a ball to save his life
    Ben Arfa isn't a winger and will be playing in the hole...says Pardew
    Marveaux is VERY left-sided but can play centrally if needed.
    And we still don't know if we will sign Barnetta
