I`ve pinched this from the Norwich board, how many points do you think we`ll get. this is just a bit of fun, I`m useless at predictions.

    Champions League Contenders
    Man Utd
    Chelsea
    Man City
    Arsenal
    Tottenham
    Home- 2 points
    Away- 2 points

    Europa League Contenders
    Liverpool
    Everton
    Home- 4 points
    Away- 0 point

    Midtable
    Fulham
    Sunderland
    West Brom
    Newcastle
    Stoke
    Bolton
    Home- 9 points
    Away- 3 points

    Relegation Candidates
    Aston Villa
    Blackburn
    Wigan
    Wolverhampton
    QPR
    Norwich
    Home- 12 points
    Away- 5 points

    That gives us 37 points.
Will that be enough to stay up? Feel free to add your own or ignore.

I just don't think you can put Aston Villa in the relegation candidates IMO. I think that given how we performed against Newcastle at home in the Championship (when they were high on confidence and similar team to last season), we can be confident that we'll compete at home with the majority of teams around they're level and lower. We'll have to hope to for top teams to have bad days against us for us to get points off them probably! When I've got time, I'll probably write out for each team how I think we'll do against them home and away!

I'll put in mine once the new signings are officially confirmed.

Too early to put in a prediction.

Forty of course ought to be the target. The attacking flair is there- just needs to be complemented with a steely defence.

To be fair it is really difficult to tell now what games we can win or lose, everyone would agree that the league can bring up some shock results as shown last season. We will probably have one big win and then lose to a relegation team.

I'm positive though that we are capable of getting past 40 points <ok>

As long as we don't do a Derby and get relegated by christmas I wont mind... Just enjoy each game and lets not take anything too serious.

The thing to remember is that we are over-whelming favourites for the drop so we can play with no pressure...

17th place with 7 points more than the bottom three by the time we visit Old Trafford.

Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins is adamant his club are not coming up just to make up the numbers in the Premier League.

Jenkins is convinced the Swans will be competitive in the top-flight and now can't wait to get started away to Manchester City on August 13. The City supremo believes clubs who take them lightly will be in for a shock and he doesn't subscript to the theory that the Premier League's big guns will be far too strong for Brendan Rodgers' plucky bunch. Jenkins told the BBC: "Everybody would be foolish to write us off just for those type of games. "We've proved in the Championship, [against] so called bigger clubs heavily spending way over our budget, we competed and competed very well [and] played the best football in the Championship. "That will carry on and there's no doubt, apart from the top four or five in the Premier League, every team in that league is beatable.".................

Apart from 6 points against Liverpool (Blackpool did it!!) I don't care where the other 34 points come from.

Wigan an wolves scraped by, so their both defiantly fav's to go down.
Also I think Norwich will go down so Swansea will probably stay up.
