I like to think that QPR fans are decent compared to most other clubs. I think he deserves a little ripple.
In terms of success in my opinion hes not to far behind Terry Venables and Gerry Francis as our best managers in the last 35 years with Ian Holloway and Don Howe probably 4th and 5th. My bottom two in that period is probably Alan Mullery and Ian Dowie,
Interesting that you put Dowie at the bottom considering his win percentage is the best we've ever had.
Warnock deserves a great ovation before the game, he did work wonders for us under trying circumstances. I'll be watching the game in Cyprus and will raise a glass to him before the game but still hope he leaves pointless...
Evidence would suggest there are a fair few bell ends amongst us (not on here of course). Can't think why anyone would boo Warnock, crazy talk.
No way we should boo him, done great things here & transformed the side with his signings, just felt for him in the summer transfer window with the goons in charge.
Iain Dowie second spell 53.3% Ted Vizard 51.1% Terry Venables 50.6% A few selected others Alec Stock 46.9% Gordon Jago 44.1% Dave Sexton 43.8% Alan Mullery 42.3% Ian Holloway 39.7% Neil Warnock 39.2% Gerry Francis first spell 37.3% http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Queens_Park_Rangers_F.C._managers
Give the man a huge amount of respect as he took us from Relegation fodder to Champions in a little over 12 months......then give Forest a decent tonking......then give him some more applause....
A bit of a legend to us. Having said that, him signing Deouf, the 'Sewer Rat' (in his words).Lost a lot of respect. Who could forget Deoif standing over Mackie while his leg was broken!.
I always rated Don Howe, was upset at the way they treated him. Good to see others also recall him highly shenley.
