Anyone here have any experience of the UCAS teacher training website? I have an offer but I can't seem to find a way to accept it (there's some text that says reply but it doesn't seem to be an actual clickable link). Do I have to wait to hear back from all three unis before I can accept an offer from any of them?

Finally moving out of the family home again post-uni. For some reason I decided it would be fun to live with other people...a lot of other people. 9 bedroom house here I come. I lived in a one bed flat with my ex when I was at Uni so this will be...different.

Living with lots of people really can go either way, depending on who you live with. I was in a house of 6 last year at Uni, and when half of them don't pull their weight in cleaning etc, it can become a real problem. This year with 3, it's far better, although I do find myself alone a quite a bit as my housemates are social butterflies...

It will certainly be different to what I'm used to. Haven't lived with people I don't know before. They're supposedly a good bunch of 'young professionals', but we'll see. I'll only have to suffer for 6 months if it's horrendous. On the plus side it will almost double the amount of people I know. Will be nice to have my freedom back too and living in Southampton will save me a lot of money with travel to work and taxi's home!

Been watching the news. How can you tell someone that one or more of their relatives/friends are dead by text? That's a disgrace.

Looked at the right ups. They made me look further as the race was supposed to be a pretty damn good 'un. So I looked and almost immediately I saw that BT Sport 2 [and HD] are doing an entire repeat of the MotoGP race [maybe not Moto2 or 3, but I'll live] at 10.30am tomorrow. So, if my brain is functioning, I'll be tuned in.

As it happens, because I missed the MotoGP racing yesterday, when I came back I took the covers off my old VFR800fi and had a blast into the New Forest, later in the evening. It was bloody cold, but riding a fairly powerful motorbike is way better than watching them go round a track, much as I love that too. It was the first ride of the year [you lazy bleeder, Andy], but the old girl behaved impeccably, and the hair went up on the back of my neck as I dropped a gear on the Lyndhurst road, and the muted low howl came from the exhaust as I rolled open the throttle. The bike catapulted forward like you wouldn't believe, and the guy in the car I passed must have loved the noise because the just perceived roar I could hear from under the lid was music to the ears. That sound alone was worth missing a race. But then I had a few corners and roundabouts to enjoy before coming home.

I just caught the end of it and feel like I missed some good TV. Worth trying to see?

The ending was the main bit to be fair. The rest of it was just kind of a trial documentary. I dunno, it quite upset me really.

Cooee, Late Kick Off is on. I get to watch it as it's broadcast, for once.

No I don't. I'm forced to watch the London one. I'll watch the South Coast one later this week.

Just been watching Stewart Lee's series on iPlayer from episode one. Brilliant, in all honesty. Blimey, he's kept his brand of humour going at a high standard. Never been mainstream, but each time I've caught a show of his I've chuckled and often guffawed as well. If you click the link you'll realise why I even liked the signpost fun at the end. The woman recalling her youth days. Been there, done that. It's cute and poignant.

BTW, Chris Morris is his interrogator.
