Is it immoral to make a profit on a spare ticket if your buddy has had to cancel on you and can't make the Wembley trip?
I did actually in Peterborough recently and it was handed in, in tact c/w several hundreds of pounds . Hugely impressed
Is it immoral? Let it be known that the mods can view your IP address and email address which they will pass on and we can use to locate, identify, and liberate you of your semi final tickets for your sin. Then and only then may you find salvation. Make sure you report this post as you will then become anonymous and your personal details shall be encrypted so you will not be traceable.
No squirming at this end mate. It appears that this forum is dominated by a few individuals and their disciples, new trains of thought unwelcome. Someone in the coming weeks will end up in this position and the question was a simple one. Not quite sure what gives you the right to misjudge the question then take the moral high ground. It's as if you're pater noster and ecce homo rolled into one.
No one is allowed to make any profit out of Hull City AFC Fans. If you try, you'll have the dribblers and wall lickers all over your sorry arse. Don't attract their attention, they never forgive and they never forget. They will have already bookmarked this thread for some carefully edited quoting to undermine you later on. Interesting hypothetical question, personally, no, I would at worst sell it at face value if I couldn't find a family member or mate who needed one. It's not the end of the world though is you did make a few quid on it is it? Unless you bought it specifically to sell it on to make money, then, no, thats bad.
I don't think you will find many niceties when enquiring about ripping off fellow city fans for sought after tickets for the clubs biggest game in 84 years. In fact, I think the responses have all been rather tolerant and pleasant, all things considered.
I dont have one, it was a hypethetical question. If I had then I'd probably give it to a lad I used to to BP with in the early 70's. He's down on his luck and can't afford the luxury of modern football. I'd end up paying his transport and subsistance too but so what. as for the earlier statement re not selling out of tickets, highly unlikely. I think the dissapointment will start before the end of the sale to SP holders. We camped out, unecessarily, for play off final tickets, just for the craic being mid 40s at the time. I fear that may be necessary this time round
Genuinely enjoyed reading that, especially about the mate you worked at BP with in the 70s. Right. So how much do you want for this ticket then if Buddy isn’t going?
