Interesting I wonder what will happen if the pay to play case is confirmed, he could be done for the season. In would think they'd want to hurry up the case before his first game.

He delivered one of the best seasons I've seen at QPR in 20+ years. Unless I've been watching a different QPR to everyone else since the 1990s, I don't get the hatred.

It was a great season but I don't wish to go back. Especially with the cloud over his head plus the fact there's no way TF would do it after sacking him.

Am sure that all parties would not want a return but there is no cloud hanging over Warnock - Puncheon retrracted his comments as baseless and without foundation - Warnock accepted the apology. There is and has never been any allegation made to Warnock's integrity over the playing of players.
Stop inferring there is as this has already been widely reported.

I don't hate Warnock. He put his heart and soul into managing out team and did well. I just hope he doesn't get in the way of us getting promotion this year.

Sharon must have got fed up with him at home!

Wish him well but NOT AGAINST QPR!!!

So Earnshaw joins Blackpool. He always scores against us and now Sir Neil will be nipping at our heels for the rest of the season.

The joy from Saturday's win is ebbing fast.

The FA haven't released their verdict on the case, there is a cloud over him until he is cleared.

In reality, it should be that there is no cloud over him until he is found guilty with sufficient evidence, which none of us has seen.

There's this piece of conventional wisdom that says that Warnock cannot manage in the Premier League, but is it really true. The PL is a tough league and there's many a manager that's experienced relegation from it. At Sheffield United there was the Tevez affair, which may or may not have produced a different outcome for Warnock. Even if that's questionable, I'd say it was no shame to only experience one season up there with a team like the Blades, given the quality of the opposition. Looking at the final table for the 2006-7 season, Sheffield United were relegated in 18th position, but only on GD to Wigan, and a point off Fulham in 16th.

Wasn't his only other season up there the one with us, where history shows the Rs were not in a relegation spot when he was dismissed? Yeah, there was all the talk about losing the dressing room, plus the typically negative comments from that paragon of virtue Joseph Barton, but there was also some great results (Everton away, anybody?) and some mitigating circumstances. His buying during the August of that season was shown to be ineffective and disruptive, but he couldn't buy until the Fernandes acquisition was completed.

With a little research I dare say you could identify a few managers that "can't manage in the PL" on the same basis, but for whom there is no stigma....Nigel Adkins, Brian McDermott, Malky Mackay?

Newcastle dismissed Hughton and there he is keeping Norwich up. Roberto di Matteo was dismissed by WBA and then lifted the European Cup. Nobody seems to say AVB can't manage in the PL but his record is ****e despite all the riches at his disposal.

    Just saying.

    Well said.

Would have loved to have him back as manager.

As for not being able to manage a Premier League team he wasn't exactly given anything but probable relegation fodder be that the fault of the owners or simple lack of finance.

Better manager than a good few up there right now.

He relegated sheff, was on his way to relegating us and I think he either relegated or was sacked with notts co.

He's 0 for 3 in keeping teams up. That's enough proof for me.

    Wrong....

He Refused to play Rowlands in a row over money...I got that from the Rowlands family.!!

never liked Colin but accepted that he was what QPR needed at the time in a manager.

read his book and nothing was ever his fault apparently.....

Dont like him and never have...

Sods law says he'll get forrest into the play off final against us and beat us as his revenge !! FFS
