Considering Fletch is fcuked and Jozy is..... Well do I really need to say, and Scocco to put it politely has yet to find his feet should we not bring back DG and Connor.

Now here me out, yeh we can moan they are $hite and we are doomed with them blah blah but are we not doomed with our strike force anyway. The definition of insanity for me is to keep trying the same thing and expecting different results. Well if we keep playing these we will continue to get 0 points.

DG and CW both have points to prove and to be fair, it can't get much worse. Bring them back and at least we can say we tried all options. Out current options are not good enough.

Why can't we give the dingy toy Giach a go?

Only SAFC can toss aside a full Italian international, and make him seem ****e.

Nope, against West Ham id match them Borini playing the Nolan role behind Altidore.

    ------------------Mannone------------------
    Bardsley------Oshea----Brown-------Alonso
    Johnson------Ki-----Cattermole-Giaccherini
    -------------------Borini------------------------
    -------------------Altidore----------------------

I would go for Colback in lieu of Clattermole !!! Otherwise probably the best we can do.

Get Connor, Watmore & Mandron back. Impossible to be worse than DG or Jozy. At least you will get some effort.

I wonder how well Connor Wickham would've done with as much game time as Altidore - I also wonder why he was sent on loan when we have so little to pick from! I truly hope it's due to attitude and being an arsehole in training - as if it's not then there is surely no reason to send him out.

People say he's not good enough - I can;t see how we can form that opinion one the little snippets we've seen of him. I have seen certain performances where he's looked capable and other performances where he simply hasn't - but still haven't seen enough at this level to form abalanced and valuable opinion

He'll be leading the line next season if the worst happens so we'll see plenty of him. He's capable of getting 15-20 goals in the championship

Spot on Parker - I reckon the same sadly. Eternally optimistic but I'm all optimism'd out!! I would still like him given a run of games in the premier league!! It's surely no worse than what we're watching at the moment

    Wickham returns from loan spell
    Published: 24 March, 2014
    by Stuart Vose
Striker returns from Leeds; available for Liverpool trip.
Striker Connor Wickham is to return to Sunderland after being recalled from his loan spell with Championship side Leeds United.
The 20-year-old will be available for the Black Cats' trip to Anfield on Wednesday evening, with on-loan Liverpool striker Fabio Borini unable to face his parent club due to league rules.

Well he's back can he be any worse than what we have played <bubbly>

Just hope some of the fickle fans don't slate him if, as expected, we get beat. I am personally delighted and hope he gets every game from now until the end of the season. I still think he will come good if given a chance.
Will Gus play him tho OR as is the norm just a 15 min subs appearance.

Totally agree Gil - He has never had a run of games at this level and people have already made up their minds about him "not being good enough". If he plays from now until the end of the season then will we have a chance? The Liverpool defence is shaky - OK so they will probably score 5 but if we can get a couple ourselves and Wickham can put them under pressure. He's certainly not slow and has a decent touch. Let's just hope he squares it this time or sticks it in the top corner!!

If we never paid the inflated fee we paid for him we wouldn't be having the same argument we have every time Wickham is mentioned. The bottom line is we paid stupid money for a kid with potential, who through whoever you want to blame hasn't blossomed as a player. 4 managers have had good long looks at him and no one fancied him. In my opinion he is still the raw kid he was at 17-18 when we got him, he hasn't matured at all as a player. In April he will have been playing senior first team football for 5 years , he has over 120 appearances and has 23 goals (13 of them was before his move to us ) why haven't our managers who have worked with him " brought him on " and developed him, it's because we have been conned. Steve Bruce paid way over the odds for a teenager with promise and it is only the transfer fee we paid that sticks in supporters throats, and fuels there argument that " he should come good"
