Colchester United boss Joe Dune say's about Bristol City.. " Just look at some of the players he has taken and that comes with a big club and a big budget" and "They'll have a big crowd and we'll be little old Col U against a big city club again and we have to show our usual attitude and determination." or.. The Bookies.. 90 Minutes - What will the result be at the end of 90 minutes? Colchester United 2.80 Draw 3.20 Bristol City 2.50 . So who do we believe, Joe Dune's mind games or the bookies optimism.? I know who I believe.... Up the City.
A win this afternoon will mean we're almost safe They are in poor form, we're doing ok. I still fancy a 1-1
I have gone for a City win in the guess it and betting games (optimism buoyed by the last few results), but if I am honest I see a 2-2 draw today. May regret the heart over the head come the morning?

" Just look at some of the players he has taken and that comes with a big club and a big budget" and "They'll have a big crowd and we'll be little old Col U against a big city club again and we have to show our usual attitude and determination." We may appear 'big' to the likes of Colchester, but when Watford, Norwich and QPR represent a bigger club in comparison to City it puts us into perspective. Just for the record, Manchesters United and City are big clubs. Aston Villa are a big club and so are Spurs. Bristol City are historically a lower Championship side who are currently punching just below their weight. Some of the posters on here i'm sure are under the delusion that Bristol City have some divine right to be at the top level, but any sane football fan will tell them we are not far from where we belong, and anything more is an unlikely bonus.
I would say we're about the same 'size' as Watford and QPR to be honest, there's nothing about these two clubs that scream 'bigger' at all... Yes, they are in a higher division, but so are Yeovil... I do believe that when we get our stadium redeveloped and an increase in capacity from 21,000 to 27,000, with the added revenue we'll receive, IMO we would be bigger than both Watford and QPR! Its all about getting a team together who can win football matches, CURRENTLY this is what we are lacking in comparison to QPR and Watford. Not that any of this really matters anyway, I just thought you needed correcting.
