This was my headline months ago,and I must repeat it today!He is either useless or bent!!My thoughts..he is on the make,under control of bookmakers,and a useless referee!!He must now get banned from refereering any more games in the top-flight!
Getting sacked would be too good for him....he should be banned from English football for ever and a day!!!

Don`t think he`s bent just incompetent. Had the opportunity to get it right, the player owned up & Marriner ignored him and still got it wrong. Why is it impossible for a ref to change a decision? Once the decisions made is it irreversible? Judgment given & that`s an end of it? Where was the lino? Shambolic.
He should never have refereed again after the Watford v Reading goal fiasco. Fast tracked by the FA tho as one of the top up n coming refs. He is totally incompetent.
I thought that was Atwell? MARRINER is a disgrace. Poyet said it. He didn't play Catts because of Marriner
I'm not sure. Atwell is definitely refereeing in the PL but him and am are terrible. I've seen 8 challenges worse than Cattermole's red at Hull today. Not one sending off. Two in the villa game were shocking challenges. Just yellows. El Ahmadi was 2 footed off the ground and from behind. Common sense says yellow card! Catts yellow was for nothin compared to Danny Rose against Southampton. Almost identical to Ramires the other week
talking of catts he came on yesterday and got booked almost straight away for arguing with the ref even before he kicked a ball .
So did Larsson, on a number of occasions but he wasn't booked for it. Strange. to directly verbally abuse the referee, isn't that a red card offence? If so what's a yellow card if general protesting (including swearing) isn't a yellow card offence? Just trying to work out if Catts was out of order or he was booked on rep.
in such an important six pointer (so called by most) i found it strange why he didnt start ,i could see why he was introduced but for me he should have started instead of brids,on entering the fray he promptly protested about a foul given against us in a meaningless place and was booked so straight away he was curtailed by the this very fact .

I suppose they couldn't have given him much of a worse punishment than having to referee a Mags game..
