Well I don't think Jelavic should be taking any more.

    Thudd or Long, surely?

    Did you miss one?

I'd want Huddlestone to be smashing them in.

Thudd for me....he can place them with power. And he's not cup tied which could be important.

From what I recall, Thudd has missed his 2 out of his 4 pens for spurs... Im sure he said that in an interview somewhere..

Brady obviously when fit and playing, Long would be next for me but I guess Bruce didnt want to put him up against Foster who will know all about him..

Jela should have practised and taken a better pen.

Haven't seen a replay but Jelavic's pen seemed quite good? Struck pretty hard into the corner but well saved. Maybe I saw it completely wrong.

People calling for Brady is a bit daft. Yes he scored 2 earlier in the season but they weren't well hit and didn't beat the keeper he iust scored cos the keeper guessed the wrong way.

Completely agree on Brady's penalties...they were poorly hit and would have been saved easily if the GK hadn't gone the wrong way. Jelavic's wasn't that bad...just an excellent save. Still think Thudd would be our best bet (50% is better than zero) :emoticon-0102-bigsm

I thought Jelavic's was well struck and well saved. Not a bad pen. I reckon Thudd would try and put them top corner too often and probably sky a couple/

The keeper went the wrong way both times on Brady's penalties cos Brady waited for the keeper to move then put it the other way. Balotelli does exactly the same thing hence why he very very rarely misses penalties, Yakubu used to do the same too

The penalty looked exactly the same as the one missed before. Every goalkeeper will be diving low to their right to stop that shot as they know what to expect. It's not hard enough or precise enough to beat a goalkeeper who expects it there.

Brady is a very good pen taker, has the confidence to wait for the keeper. I'd have Meyler or Livermore as they are both tidy finishers and confident enough to take them.

They're Premier League footballers, they should all be capable of scoring a penalty.

It was saved, but we scored from the rebound.
