I'm not struggling with this at all. Assem Allam added an introduction and his name to option one because after all these months Hull Tigers as a new name has failed to attract any support. The reasons you and others have given to voting yes are, "I'm a bully", "we want to back the owner", "I want to take over the club" but not one "I think Hull Tigers is a great name". The ballot is taking place because, in my opinion, the FA noticed that he hadn't abided by the rules of the Premier League. So this morning he had breakfast with the sponsors and tonight he announces a ballot of season ticket holders. The question is what affect will this have on the FA Council on the 9th of April? I suspect very little because the main reason according to the press reports of the Membership Committee they weren't convinced of the business case for the change. I suspect they know this is all about his falling out with Hull City Council. This is a sad day for my football club, but if it was easy it wouldn't be Hull City.
