The club admin and PR is shambolic. However, doubtless it'll all be sorted when it's Hull Tigers. Eh, Happy?
"All City fans should be grateful for the Allam's legacy". Stuff like that is the reason I haven't joined CTWD. I appreciate the argument they are putting forward, and it makes perfect political sense to get as many people on board as possible. Whilst I am obviously going to be No To Hull Tigers, some people more undecided might be persuaded by a broadly Pro-Allam message. So, it does make sense to say that. I just feel like there is something cynical about saying that. Don't tell me that I should be grateful. Why the **** should I be grateful? I owe no gratitude towards them.
Well done guys, another good piece of work and i get cheesed off at those that state that if we don't back Allam then it is relegation into the lower leagues, into the Conference or even administration. He isn't just going to close us down and lose his £65m investment and nor do we get relegated with a new owner if it comes to that. CTWD are right, it is about the name and nothing else!
Whilst itâs a splendid advert, I personally think CTWD have misjudged this one. CTWD do not need to persuade anyone with any modicum of intelligence, itâs the thick as pigshit âHey Allam, Iâm scaredâ types who need swaying. The advert had numerous paragraphs in a font type the hard of reading wonât read, canât read or will struggle to read. Sincerely, I believe this advert should have had about four lines in it. Maximum. I hate bowling to the lowest common denominator, but in this case, this is who needs to be won over because as Iâve said, itâs only the half-shell âthick as ****â brigade who still believe Allamâs blatant bullshit.
What respect would any club have in footballing circles if it it changed its name ..........for marketing reasons???? Utterly utterly shameful and beneath contempt. I'd rather be a tiger than a ****, as the saying goes.
Thank you CTWD and all involved. Thank you for caring and doing something constructive. No matter if you agree with them or not the one constant during this sorry mess has been their integrety and decency. Thank you
You are a man without respect, integrity or any form of commendable value system. I would trust you on absolutely nothing.
They will never be persuaded. It's about getting the people who think the name change is a bad idea to vote and make sure they say no to Hull Tigers.
Seconded. Loads of them will have put in lots of hard work, put their heads above the parapet and now may be penalised if we get to the cup final and there's a rush for tickets, while Allam brown-nosers will no doubt get exactly what they want. Happy Tiger will probably be in the Royal Box (pity the repsentative of the Royal Family!)
Whilst I can read your point and agree in some cases, they still need reaching out to and will be crucial overall. They’re stupid, weak and malleable. A change of mind is nothing for them.
Well, we wouldn't even exist if they hadn't bought the club. after that, all we ask if that the name & colours are retained
The scale of misinformation is breathtaking in its stupidity and in its lack of respect. At least you're showing your true colours and they aint black and amber.
I am glad I joined this protest I sent my postcard to the FA I wear the wristband everyday I owe it to 5 generations of City supporters in my family People may say "it's only a name" but something would die inside if it were changed.
Not in December. At least not without his wife's permission to be involved in football matters that month.
