No it doesn't mean he'll be off, it just means he/they are bullying voters by using that threat to try to get the result they want. He won't be off till they have a buyer, and if they had a buyer than irrespective of all this they would probs sell anyway. In any case, they will tot up: As, Cs and people who don't vote to claim a majority of season ticket holders are not opposed to the name change. It 's a foregone conclusion. But plenty will be frightened by their threat and given it's not anonymous by the fear of missing out on things like cup final tickets should we get there.
The daft sods just gone and shot himself in both feet. Not only has he made it easy to vote against his ownership, the poll as redundant as its held by themselves and results can just be altered at their own discretion with none the wiser.
Unless the ballot process is managed independently of both the club or CTWD then its open to abuse, and any outcome open to ridicule. Totally meaningless and will simply lead to another issue to be debated!!!! If these guys (The Allams) are so good at marketing and business why can't they get the commercial basics right?
The poll doesn't actually say if you vote "NO!" that you are voting against Allams ownership of the club. Probably just stuck on the end of the first option hollowly to try and herd the sheep into their favourite pen.
Of course the 3 question format is in response to the CTWD insistence that it had to be a 2 question ballot. If CTWD wanted 3 questions then it would have been 2 or 4.
I suppose if it's a positive vote in favour of the 'Hull Tigers' - all you muppets will say rigged vote !
Good reaction so far... Diane Hewson ‏@pudseytiger 1m @hullcityteam I thought the application to the FA was about the name change not about the ownership of the club? @PJBuckingham Jon Hyde ‏@hyde_jon 2m @stevebowman @hullcityteam I like that the FA will say no Tom McEvoy ‏@mcevoytom 3m The @NoToHullTigers campaign has been completely transparent. @hullcityteam should not seek to see itself above the fold #VoteNOToHullTigers Steve Bowman ‏@stevebowman 4m @hullcityteam I like that even those voting no will have to email their form to http://hulltigers.com #YesToHullTigers #hcafc #NoToHullTigers ‏@NoToHullTigers 4m @RobMcHCAFC @hullcityteam Don't know Rob sorry.Nothing to do with us unfortunately as you may suspect from questions! #VoteNOToHullTigers Bentos ‏@bentos_j 4m @MrAGooding @hullcityteam There needn't be mention of the Allams. Love OLM That's the uneditted official Twitter timeline since the announcement.
The man is an absolute disgrace and I dont want him anywhere near my football club. People laughed and mocked when I said he was worse than Lloyd. He's not just worse, he's far, far worse. In the past it has been almost possible to separate No To Hull Tigers and Allam, saying there was no protest against him, just his idea. This is now impossible. I actually hate him. Edit - and what was that he said last week about 'being disappointed with the timing of the FA Committee?
I suppose another option is to write "NONE OF THE ABOVE" on the ballot paper and register a protest against the wording, although it will be classed as spoiled no doubt.
If one post on a message board makes up your mind what your football club should be called, your a flacid phallus too.
