I didn't want 'arry back then either. He's overrated and an average manager who, because the media love him, is considered this fantastic manager.
You may think so. Suggest you ask players who have played for him or people who know him. As for being overrated ? well you have your opinion which is fine. Harry would have been my choice well before Woy.
Arry would have hated it - no way of buying countless forwards in an international job, and no brown envelopes...
Can't see it. Sunlan will pay him way over what we could. I reckon he'd be on 80-90k p/w. Plus he'd be in demand and they'd want a decent fee. All in all, not worth it.
Out of interest, I googled it. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...o-North-East-in-10m-deal-with-Sunderland.html They suggest he's on about 50k p/w - so probably nearer our ability. That said, I still can't see us affording or wanting to spend so much of the budget on him. Plus he'll be after a move to a top 10 side. Looking at the article, that was a bad few ****ing days for Sunlan considering what they've got from the pair.
Been watching the Cardiff v Liverpool game on Sky just now, Caulker must have been at fault for 4 or 5 of Liverpool's goals.
Adam Johnson talks sense but he's ****e so shouldn't get any where near the England team. Neither should Huddlestone on his performances recently.
Yeah I noticed Caulker looked **** on the highlights too. Sturridge's goal in particular wouldn't have happened if Davies was playing instead.
