First things first, the favourite is out...!!! Tiger Woods has dominated this tournament for years, winning the last 2 and claiming the title no less than 8 times in his time playing here... So that should give us no help at all other than Tiger's not going to win it for a 9th time...!!!

But what it dos mean is that we can expect a few of the other players who do well around here to maybe get there act together now Tigger aint around... So ive gone for a few who have a decent record around here over the past couple of years, and here is who ive come up with...

Kevin Na - He's the one with the annoying golf pause at the top of his swing, something that made him restructure his swing as it basically developed into the stage where he couldn't hit the ball...!!! He was the top putter in the stats for last weeks tournament, and has 2 top 4 finishes to his name over the past 5 years...

Ryan Moore - I am probably going to stick with Ryan in whatever tournament he is going to turn up in for a while now as I feel he has a tournament win in him soon, and hopefully a big one too. Moore has a top 5 finish here, in 2012, so he knows his way around the golf course, plus he has hit a bit of form this year...

Rickie Fowler - He probably dosnt need much of a introduction other that he's the one who plays in a hat about 4 sizes too big because of he pulls it over his ears...!!! Finished T3rd last year when he wasn't in the best of form but he will be one of those golfers who's attitude perked up a bit when the heard that the Tiger was missing. Here hopes then...

Matt Every - Another one who I have returned to from last years efforts and a golfer who I think gets the most out of his game. Finished T8th at Copperhead last week where he played solid for all 4 days. This comes on the back of a T6th at the Northern Trust earlier in the year. He has yet to win on the PGA Tour but this is his best season on the Tour for a few years. Currently site 31st in the Tour rankings...

    Kevin Na @ 33/1...
    Ryan Moore @ 35/1...
    Rickie Fowler @ 50/1...
    Matt Every @ 50/1...

Done in the usual £2.50 e/w bets... PadPow pay 1/4 odds top 6...
    <cheers>

Just one of those players i've followed with intent since i started following golf a few years ago. Last year you'll of noticed on these boards it was always keegan, speith and Ogivly (hahaha) got my money on the most occasions.

In terms of Keeggan, i dont think many people like his fidgety, OCD, type of behaviour on the course, but i actually find him really interesting. Will be interesting what happens once the anchored putters are gone for a few players...how do you think they will get on?

Red, well done. Good call too Smokin, almost nabbed a play-off. Good stuff.

Regards the putters, I am happy they are banning them, they all should play with similar equipment. Putting is a skill, they can all learn and adapt to it and all play from a level playing field. It will affect the younger pros more so in that many of them grew up using it and don't know any different whereas the older lads have probably switched back and forth as it suited them. It will be interesting but they will all be ok with it and putting will get back to being the skill it should be.

    KABOOOMMM...!!!!

    Thank you Matt Every...<cracker><applause>

He tried to throw it away and get into a play-off but just about held his nerve in the end... I didn't think Scotty would capitulate like he did over the last 2 days, as after day 2 he sat at -14, and that would have won the tournament had he parred the next 2 rounds...!!!

Unlucky Jeff with Keegan, I nearly picked him myself, lets hope that you can strike a winner in the next... Cheers...<cheers>

    Dang! Great call Red

I was actually out in the pub watching el classico, refreshing my phone every now n again. When i sen Every at -15 and Keegan on -10 i stopped checking. When i got home, i was hoping Keegan had held on to a top 5 spot for e/w returns, but when i seen he lost by 1 shot i was gutted.

Onto the next tournament we gooooo
