Just out of general interest of the people on this forum, which seats have you applied for... Just for an idea of where the demand is.
Not bothered where I seat as there are no bad seats at Wemberley. However I will NOT tolerate being sat near a phalanx of gaping flaskers who don't even know the names of our larkers and will not sing up.
Half way up...behind the goal if possible. Not at the top as I'll never get up the ferking stairs. Also hoping its not far to walk from coach Or some nice friendly supporters will be giving me a piggy back
Or attention seekers like 2008 near me. Two grown men in Hull Kingston Rovers shirts who never uttered a sound all game.
Blue for me also. Was in row 5 in the corner for the playoff so thought I would try higher up and towards the halfway line this time. I asked them (via a little doodle on my form) for one of the front row seats in the upper blues, so will see what I get.
I lost my job last month so I having to beg, borrow and steal (well not actually steal) to get there and a £30 ticket!!
I was up top for the play off final and didn't have to walk at all - there are escalators all the way up!
This is a perfect game for the club to organise atmosphere makers to be together and sift the flaskers away. A box on the form "do you sing at games" and "are you a flasker". Then they could have allocated us in groups, missed a trick there Mr. Form writer.
Sheff U fans can book the £60 seats in the executive areas - Allam wont let any of the fans have those seats as he's reserved those for himself - more ****ishness
To us in 2008 Bristol City just made up the numbers, no one remembers their team or support, no one encounted them until we hit Wembley Way, to us it was entirely a Hull City occasion, our destiny. This year its different, its Sheffield United, an old enemy, we'll be traveling alongside them all the way down building up the banter and atmosphere, they may well be greater in numbers and will be loud and proud, its going to be highly charged and I expect could be uncomfortable to mute flaskers reluctant to participate. Not one for plastics and day trippers we need all 32K to stand up if your Hull City.
Agreed, some posters recall a cordial bonhomie prevailing against the West Country side who seemed to take the defeat remarkably well. Let's not forget who we are playing against this time round. Expect to be flicking the Vs and giving the hand shandy signs all the way down the M1 there and back. They don't like it up 'em.
I don't care what fans are like, the more the better. Not everyone can be a die hard and if a few oldies with flasks want to support the team and turn up then good on them. I hate this self righteous attitude that some fans have as if they own he rights to be the only support worthy of the club. I see kids who haven't a clue and families who might make the odd game and they are all welcome. Anyone who pays has the SAME right to be there as you. Plastics make the club, and we won't get over 25k without some hangers on. I am hoping to avoid the sections of fans who think they are the the only ones worthy of a seat.
Wasn't meant to be taken literally. Man Ure get loads of plastics and it doesn't hurt their bank balance.
