The FA haven't changed any rules, the dozy buggers just didn't know what the rules were. I welcome a poll obviously, we've been calling for it for months. Though I'm not sure I see the point, as far as I am aware, the FA will have already made their recommendation to their members, before the result is known. I'm expecting a leading question, which will probably make it a waste of time anyway. TWT, as Tickles would say.
He'll put the club up for sale, but that would mean nothing as no one would buy it anyway. He might say "not one more penny" but then his Tigers would be relegated, and how would he get get his investment back then ?
The question shouldnt be 'What is your preferred name for the club' as that will give false results. For example my preferred name would be Hull City but that doesnt mean that i am opposed to the name change. Im sure no ones 'preferred name' would be Hull Tigers, the people that arent against the name change have that opinion as they trust the Allams business knowledge or because they dont want the consequences that would be brought in should the name change not go through. If the question was 'What is your preferred name for the club?' then my answer would be Hull City. If the question was 'Are you against the name change?' then my answer would probably be no.
The question should be: -Are you an unprincipled shallow plastic **** who is prepared to kill off our club for some hypothetical undemonstrable short term financial gain which would make our club and region a laughing stock and a pariah among other clubs? Yes or No.
I can't believe some are actually too thick to understand that the "pro" name-change, wouldn't vote yes because they actually prefer the Name Hull Tigers but because they believe the Allams when they say that that is the only way to secure the club financially and push it forward. This has been established ages ago now. This is not about a name change, it's about whether you believe/support Allams' plan or theory.
Telling someone to die when THEY want is not an insult at all It's quite a positive thing. Hopefully I will die when I want ....and not sooner
Surely no one actually believes this vague bollocks that it might definitely make us some big money deals one day.
He doesn't really have to though. Not to us anyways. You can't ignore the fact that they have done pretty much EVERYTHING right up until now. I mean from going bust to Wembley, they've accomplished something almost impossible. So to doubt them so heavily now is a bit of a piss take.
Ehab does. He reckons that the name change will reap medium- long term dividends. What if we get relegated in the short term?
OK believe that if you want. No one actually wants Hull Tigers. But many want a sustainable club and progress. It's all down to whether you believe AA when he says one cannot happen without the other. so ER YES IT IS.
