Our defence just stood around and watched the 3rd goal go in. Not worth remembering the names of most of this team - they will all be gone in the summer.
I have a feeling those 3 games against Brizzle Rovers, Northampton and Bury aren't going to be particularly enjoyable.
At least Northampton didn't capitalise on their man advantage. We're still 4 points clear of the dreaded drop.
I'm not so sure now. Just had a look at our results. Not good reading really. Of the 37 league games this season Guy was in charge for 16 games and earned us 20 points, Richie Barker has been in charge of 18 games and earned us.......... 20 points. The other 3 games Andy Awford took (2 points). All 5 teams below us have a game in hand - if Wycombe, Accrington and Exeter were all to win theirs we would be in 22nd place. At the moment we are only 4 points ahead of Northampton and their new manager seems to be making real inroads with them. Richie Barker seems to set up the team to 'not lose' rather than win. 9 points may not be enough to keep us up.
I enjoyed your song lyrics re Fleetwood. Very droll, but don't worry, I haven't come on here to gloat about the result; I wouldn't want to take the Mick....
I'm glad you didn't come to take the Mick, Channon (ho ho) It's just as well - I think we're just about out of Mick by now
If we were to start winning matches and stay up, you might become Green with envy, or if we were to get relegated, you might be wetting your Nicks with laughter....
Just read some amusing (? ) headlines reporting on our loss at Fleetwood......... "Cod Army batter Pompey" "Pompey flounder in Fleetwood" You have got to laugh, haven't you......
