Seeing as we have many generations on here, who is your favorite Brazilian of all time, or one that you enjoyed watching the most.

For me and most in my generation, Ronaldo fenomeno was THE MOTHER ****ING MAN! Honorable mentions have to go to guys like Roberto Carlos, Ze Roberto, Cafu, Rivaldo, Denilson is a cult figure there, Socrates, Branco, and many many more.

So who would be in your top Brazilian list or your Brazilian XI?

Bit of fun this thread and to see also how far back people can go.

i used to love watching Zico and Falcao.

fav brazillian player not sure, probably have to be ronaldo, he played when it was still a contact sport, and he was some player, maradonna is the best i have ever seen, although not brazillain obviously lol.

always think would ronaldo (the fake one lol) and bale etc be so good if you could still tackle and not go down near the edge of the area just so you could get your free kicks, like to have seen them up against say barnes or giggs who knew how to glide through teams and avoid being hacked down when tackling was still allowed.

Ronaldo for me. I just about remember him for Barca but more so for Inter and Madrid. Guy was the complete striker. Such a shame for injuries as he could have played and scored so many more.

Socrates was probably the best Brazilian I've seen play. Power, poise, masses of skills and flicks and a shot that could rip the net.....cool name and top, top beard

Ronaldinho is my all time favourite player. I had sky sports to watch Barcelona just to see him play, best of his generation and it's such a shame because he could of been one of the all time greats if he applied himself correctly.

88-they had some good uns but for me they are lacking a good kicker in their ranks to make them a real nation of footballers. Its that or a biter...

I would have said Rivaldo in the late 90s was magical to watch, so skillful with the ball despite being so ungainly. His actions against Turkey in WC2002 were pretty unforgivable however. (Fat) Ronaldo was the best Brazilian I have seen play.

I wonder how many WPOTY awards Brazil has in total? It must be crazy when you think about the names mentioned.

When Lucio was on his game, I used to think he was one of the top CB's in the world, a real leader in the back.

With those top players like Pele, Romario, Zico, Ronaldo, I think there is bad blood between them as they each see themselves as the biggest one. Edmundo, Bebeto ( super depor, anyone remember them?), Some proper holding mids too like Emerson.

Romario and Edmundo's bad blood is very well known and they were teammates at Vasco.

Future one could be Neymar, past has been Kaka, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, I think Rivaldo got it once? Romario just to cover the 90's-2000's.

What about Cafu - only player to have appeared in three World Cup finals, winning two, 1994 and 2002.
