Well, if I've got £400 still to stake I might as well get on with it:

    £100 Sire De Grugy 4/1
    £100 EW Wonderful Charm 8/1
    £100 Quevega/Annie Power double

    So in total I'm on:

    £50 Quevega/Sire de Grugy double (2/1 & 4/1)
    £100 Quevega/Annie Power double (5/4 & 4/1)
    £150 Wonderful Charm 8/1
    £100 EW Wonderful Charm 8/1
    £280 Sire De Grugy 4/1
    £100 EW Arvika 9/1
    £20 The Liquidator 50/1

I think im beat lads, Quevega, Sire De Grugy and The New One losing, and Bobs double with Faugheen(who should never have been put up <doh>)

Was unlucky with The New One, should have won, and the reason I was strong against Sire was Captain Conan who pulled up lame. Royal Boy might have tested Faugheen when he made those mistakes but he was a non runner, doubt it would have mattered but if he wasnt in the race Faugheen would not have been on the board! Expected to take more on Hurricane Fly but no one wanted him.

Never mind Joe. It was good fun and thanks for the thread. Maybe do it again next year (or for another major meeting)?

Pays out £2,150. Better effort than my real betting this week!

Good comp Boris. Really hard one for you to win I'd have thought, I wouldn't fancy myself to pull it off - good of you to have a crack though!

How could I not just have gave Bob the treble <doh>

Im a backer to be fair, done not bad to get a lot of them beat, lot of fancied horses up there, I will live and learn, hopefully stick goes easy with the username but should be a laugh anyway.

Maybe I will be back for Royal Ascot to earn my username back.

Luck got Briar Hill beat kid, clearly had the best form in the race(in hindsight) and would have improved a stone at least on what he had already shown.
