I'll just be glad when we get some solid good news. The longer we go without hearing anything, the more concerned I feel about his situation.

He's got to pull through though. This isn't a fitting end to such a legend.

nothing unusual, same as the "curse of the Kennedy's", if you're an idly rich thrill seeker there's a good chance that sooner or later you'll get hurt.

To be fair I don't think being rich has much input into it, the thrill seeker part I agree on.

the idly rich can afford the better, ergo more dangerous, buzz and have the free time to do more of it in, which vastly increases the risk, then there's the glamour factor, you or I having these accidents might make Face book, but that's about it.

I see your point there, cost may correlate with danger of recreation. But I doubt Schumacher would want the publicity he has got, that is simply a by product of his career and the impacts it had on the lives all over the world over 20 years. Something you and me haven't done haha, that's why we would just be on facebook.

I heard that this morning and was chuffed that we had recieved some direct info from the family. However, the more I digest and think about it the more I thought that reading between the lines they weren't that confident. Hope I'm wrong!

Same here. Direct news from the family is the only reliable news <ok> I think slow and steady will win the race for schu. no need to rush these things

Oh Lewis. I think this is a bit clumsy really.

A lot of people have talked about how Michael is a fighter and will pull through, is Lewis alluding to the fact that this will show his fighting spirit? Dunno, I hope so. Not sure why it means everything happens for a reason though. I would be happier if Lewis was a bit less Goddy really.

Lewis shows his character. Maybe he did it for a reason? Headline and story don't make much sense together.
