My opinion is that if you cheat to try to gain a goal (diving, handball etc.) it should be the same punishment as cheating to stop a goal (professional foul etc.)

 

What offended me was the fact he ran away celebrating as though he scored an excellent goal! He had the audacity to not even look a little bit sheepish! He could have at least gave the impression that the free kick taker had scored directly from the kick and the ball had in fact, despite his best efforts, not touched his hand, but no, he claims it! What a horrible little bastard!

Depends if the ref sees it. Ala Larsons handball to knock Barton's header off the line. Should have been sent off for that.

 

Larsson's was debatable whether it was arm or shoulder, and was nowhere near a blatant example of cheating than the one in question..

 

Not defending our players handball seriously. It was ridiculous. Larsons was a clear handball as well.
