Aren't these two supposed to be best run clubs with the BEST possible men at the helm? Compared to these we are saints!
Barca have been caught pants down committing tax fraud and so fudging the income results I assume they used to determine compliance with FFP. If FIFA don't see this as a reason for a serious penalty, it is only because they are at least as bent themselves. Hoeness was done personally, Bayern are not involved. Not certain, but think Hoeness is also not attached to Bayern now. I suspect that Barca are not the only ones, just the only ones that got caught.
I highly doubt FIFA will do anything even if they fail to comply. To me at least this law was brought in not to stop another Portsmouth but to stop the likes of Chelsea and City from stomping all over Real and Barca with their financial muscle. The president of Barca has himself stated that they can't keep up financially so have to look at other routes. If this was Chelsea we ALL know what the reaction would be and FIFA would hammer us with all kinds of bans. I hope Barca go broke and watch what FIFA will do.
What is it with Barca and Real ?? They have everything in their favour, outrageous financial advantage over all other Spanish Teams from TV rights, and FIFA falling over themselves to give them more. Barca are bent tax frauds, Real wouldn't stand proper financial investigation and spend like there's no tomorrow, yet zip happens.
can't stand Barca & Real. Whenever most say they spend what they make, just like Moanu - that is disgusting. How do they become big in the first place - by undercutting everyone! For the first time in ages - seen a team on par with Barca - that is City - in getting referees decisions.
I though t in the first half , Barca got the 50-50 decisions the 40-60 decisions and the 30-70 decisions. City only got 100% decisions. Second half a little more balanced.
What a crock of ****. I'm sure it has nothing to do with the Spanish state trying to protect it's vast grant in aid investment in the Real squad.
