Thought this was pretty cool - gives a different perspective. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-J-WAJXZTQ
I'm glad the club have acted on my prompting and copied the Man Hunter style clips I linked on here a year or two back. Well done.
I think it shows a lot that Long stood in the hall and congratulated each and every player as they came through. Just reinforces what a top bloke he is.
Man city have a good version of this that's almost like a sitcom. I do like watching this, interesting to see who sits next to who in dressing toom.
i think it says "hang other way" the bit at 11mins has me wondering Who was the last pro footballer to fall foul of the illegal stud rule ?
They're not allowed to wear under shorts that are a different colour to the playing shorts, so in our home kit they'd only be allowed black under shorts.
Doncaster away (Belle Vue, 2003ish?) our keeper, a former Dutch marine, Kuipers had to change his shorts pitchside because his undershorts were the wrong colour. **** game. I got stuck in the carpark for bloody ages. Why can't I ever remember useful ****!
The first one I saw was for the Norwich game away, after that City started doing it, so there are a few to look back on. The Cardiff away game is also good.
Was on telly wasn't it?! Must have been the Divison 3 promotion season because I'm pretty sure Kuipers played just before we signed Myhill. IIRC he saved 3 penalties in a month or something. Good memories!
I do think they should put a few pictures up in that corridor! Leave the oppositions bare & cold looking! But ours should be full of action pics!
The old dear at work was reminiscing about school and a particular teacher (he was still there when a younger member of staff was there - which kicked off the discussion) her story was they had knicker inspection by the teacher as they had to be navy blue i think she said (it was probably the 60s lol)
