I hate the phrase "6 pointer" but this really is one. We win, we go into a game at Norwich with confidence. We draw, its a good point for Palace and keeps us in the Sh I T. We lose and my humble opinion its game over. Everyone at the club..including supporters should get behind this game in the same way we did in the semi against Man Utd. we need that commitment and composure...We dare not lose this game.
I don't, it's a fact ....... we have the chance to gain 3 points and deprive a rival of 3. For the record I think we'll win the game, Palace don't seem to have goals in them and we'll score.
Very tough game! Palace are now organised. Pulis making his mark. They will come to frustrate. Shirt pulling, blocking, getting at the ref, time wasting from the off. A lot depends on our players mentality. Do they come out like frightened rabbits or they return after cup exploits fired up for the league.
It truly is a 6 pointer. Not only do you win to deprive a rival of the points, you also dent their goal difference and improve your own - a 3-0 would be lovely on Saturday. But I'd be perfectly happy with a scrappy 1-0 with a scruffy goal in the 94th minute! I think the team which started at Wembley will probably start on Saturday - Bench may look a little different but not entirely sure what to expect - I will not make a prediction

I think the lads will be up for it on Saturday. Palace will be no walk over (the premier League has taught us this many times). A win would be massive and just at the right time, but the most important thing is not to lose. I do not think there are many over confident SAFC fans this week (which is good). Every body expected us to win the league game against Hull a few weeks ago, and we did not (got another bloody nose). This time feels different. No over confidence. This is the right attitude and therefore I believe the lads will put in a good performance. I hope the performance will give us the points.
