Right, I'm on The Fly at 7/2. Too big a price to leave unbacked.

<laugh> This did make me smile, as did Brough Tigers 'TNO, oh no maybe Our Conor' <laugh> I really think that sums up the Champion Hurdle. For all the bullishness about certainties in this race (you know who you are!) you simply cannot be overly dogmatic as to who will win this race. No way

Today's markets again show why ante-post betting should be minimised if not avoided completely during the couple of weeks before the big day. Irving / Vautour 4/1, Western Boy 25/1! Fly 7/2 generally and 6/1 WH @ 10.00am (though only for a tenner).

    Good luck

I'm one, I suppose - I think posting the 2014 winner in my sig, 11 months, 3 weeks before the race is run probably qualifies me Beefy <laugh>

I'll probably look a right mug by 3-30 today :D

    Or even sooner <laugh>

<ok> No one who watched last year's Triumph can deny they witnessed a future champion. You may simply want to change it from 2014 to 2015 though <laugh> Seriously bullish vibes around the preview circuit for him and Dessie seems pretty confident. Personally, I think, as with Fly Our Conor would have been slightly more suited by slower ground as I think stamina is his forte but he's certainly a big player. I've done My Tent or Yours as a saver in the race though, as I think he's been seriously underestimated, well up until he'd been 'pricewised'! It's a race you could have 3 bets in and still not have the winner. That's my hugely insightful view on it :)

P.S. I wasn't meaning you as being the 'bullish' one either!

    The 5.15 is a minefield.

Barry G says his has a great chance if it jumps.
Bryan Cooper says his ride is his best outsider of the week.
Stick and The Don and presumably the Longsdon yard think Pendra is ready to win.

That's just three runners seemingly mega fancied.

    And that's just one handicap.

Handicap betting is a quick way to the poor house.

I was backing Our Conor large on the flat before most of you had even heard of him, he wont win a Champion Hurdle, doesnt do enough off the bridle.
