I'd take Powell over any of these numpties. Got alot of time for him, think he will be a quality manager given funds, or at least not at a selling club.
silly me. Although my point still stands, if we had crumbled to mid-table after the disappointment of last year, or Person had been sacked in the summer, i would happily have him here.

In an ideal world we'd give a five year contract to Paul Clement, tell him the aim is promotion and staying up with a sustainable squad by season three, and let him build. If by some dream we get promoted in year one, we should be relaxed about coming straight back down. We have a 5 + year strategy on the capital side of the club, we need the same on the football side. Sadly I think the pressure to improve the figures won't allow us to take the pressure off.
So we will be sacking Arry tonight...and getting Powell in!!! Yeah right on Me I am hanging out for a hero....Malky ....but the rumours about Dave Clements son are all good
My opinion is that he's a good manager doing a near impossible job. Don't write him off based on this Charlton team.
