    with all the news on comings and goings dominating the headlines/threads etc. (rightly so) this seems to have slipped under the radar

    A Newcastle United U15 squad have arrived in Singapore ahead of their participation in the six team Lion Cup Tournament over the coming days.

    Their campaign begins on Saturday with a game against Singapore, moving on to face Juventus on Monday, with the semis and final on June 24th & 26th respectively.

    The second group includes teams representing Everton, Brazilian club Flamengo and a second Singapore side. Matches are played in the Jalan Besar Stadium.

    Eurosport 2 UK (Sky Channel 411) list delayed coverage of the Singapore game at 9am on Monday, followed by live transmission of the Juventus fixture at 1.45pm.

    Hopefully a new Shearer pops up - still want A Campbell and Airey to stand up to the plate as his natural successor though

    should be canny will get to see the next generation and see how they fair against some good teams ( ohh and Everton)
