I was hoping that Judo would furnish us with a match report from Saturday's game, especially as not many of us had the opportunity to see it. So in order to compensate for this, here is Clive's latest proffering.. Take it away Clive.......... Morrisonâs class halts Rangers rot â report Sunday, 9th Mar 2014 23:45 by Clive Whittingham Two excellent goals from on loan midfielder Ravel Morrison sealed a 2-0 win for QPR at Birmingham City on Saturday and halted a run of five matches without a victory. For QPR, and maverick loanee Ravel Morrison, a chance to get out onto the pitch and silence a few critics with some football was most welcome. Itâs been a tough few weeks for both. Rangers have not responded well to losing key players to long term injuries and embarked on a five match run without a win, just as Leicester and Burnley have upped their own performance a couple of gears and moved away into the distance. The Râs have won only one of eight matches against the top six sides in the division this year making the play-offs and unappetising proposition. - See more at: http://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/footba...ts-rangers-rot-–-report?#sthash.SHqrtjJt.dpuf
Well that was a relatively concise chronicle of Saturday afternoon's events at St.Andrews. As usual there are some great observations by Clive and I particularly liked the reference about Morrison being the 'right sort.'
A good report indeed. Good result but no need to get carried away. **** dont come gold in a week.....
Not my cup of tea as always find it long winded and serves up nothing we didn't know ... say it and move on IMO ... Enjoy the football ...but that's just me. but i do respect the effort he puts in I am at the AMEX tomorrow anyone else going from here?
Of course, local one for me! Looking forward to it - we have 2,500 fans making the journey down - hopefully another win.
