Well I'm sure me getting carried away about Europe will not affect the players so either get on board the FA cup/Europe bus or just stay quiet mate cos it's boring
Exactly! We didn't start getting too excited about the future until the 6th Round draw was made, though. Then our thoughts were about getting to a Wembley semi final. Suddenly everybody is expecting us to be playing in Europe next season. By the way, weren't Watford favourites to pip us for automatic promotion before the last match last season?
I'll be getting on board when there's a match to go to. Unless it's in Kazakhstan (or anywhere further than Belgium or northern France) when I will go by plane.
So players spend their life in the dressing room and don't have access to newspapers, radio, TV, the internet or people?
Brucey is the best manager we have ever had IMO. When he talks to the media he does not talk b*ll****. i firmly believe that filters down to the players. I also look forward to his interviews. I used to cringe at the Brown, Pearson & Barmby interviews.
Ok, so how would my complacency away from this board spread to the team? Why don't you just give it up and let the rest of us dream for a while eh?
You are not that important. I am talking about a collective complacency. You may prefer to dream while I prefer to enjoy reality. If you make an effort reality can be a lot of fun.
Steve Bruce talks sense. Brown and Pearson were two total opposites: Pearson didn't want to be talking to journalists whereas with Brown it was the highlight of his day.
I don't wish to piss on anyone's bonfire but, I bet we won't be allowed in Europe cos of FFP. I would piss myself if the rules of FFP were relaxed the season AFTER we were banned from Europe.
This may reassure you http://www.financialfairplay.co.uk/...e-allowed-into-the-europa-league-next-season-
They don't go to Kazakhstan! I used to travel to Finland regularly but that was not long after Ryanair had started and I had to use BA or Finnair who were both really expensive but there was a special deal with a travel agent that could sell cheap tickets.
Well I'm in London so it's a lot less hassle to get on EuroStar and go to France or Belgium rather than mess around getting a plane.
